Who is north shore publishing?
North Shore Publishing is a Burlington, Ontario, Canada based publishing company specializing in local heritage books and prints. Our business office hours are Monday-Friday 9:00am-5:00pm. *Please note - we are a publishing company and do not have a storefront. We do offer curbside pick up of orders placed online.
how do i place an order?
• Click BUY NOW! for any item you wish to purchase. You will then have the option to change the quantity and you can select either PICK UP or SHIPPING from our simplified CHECKOUT page

What methods of payment do you accept?
*We accept Visa and MasterCard (you don't need to have a PayPal account to pay by credit card but we use them to process payments. You can place your order without a PayPal account.)
*We are now using STRIPE to process more of our payments. No account is needed. Payments accepted include: VISA, MasterCard, Google Pay, Apple Pay and LINK.
We also accept cheques made payable to: North Shore Publishing. If you would like to pay by cheque, please email i[email protected] with your name and mailing address and what you would like to purchase.

can i get a signed copy of a book?
Any of the books by Gary Evans can be signed by the author. To request a signature please email: signature@northshorepublishing.ca

We try & keep our shipping costs as low as possible, however, Canada Post has raised their fuel surcharge rates about 40% on top of the base rate & this has unfortunately required us to raise our rates to try and make up a little of the difference.

The prices listed on our website are online prices only. Prices at retail outlets and other venues may be different. Since we are the publishing company, we often have different promotions on our website that can only be given to our online customers.

HOW DO I BUY MULTIPLE ITEMS?
We are currently using a "BUY NOW" system and not a "shopping cart". This allows you to complete your purchase much faster without having to go through the shopping cart process. Unfortunately it also eliminates being able to purchase multiple separate items. If you wish to purchase multiple items, please send us a message with what you would like to purchase and if its to be picked up or shipped, we will e-mail you an invoice you can pay online by credit card.
